Our Great Pyrenees dogs and puppies
This page is dedicated to Priapus 1992 - 2004
Our Great Pyrenees dogs have the best of all worlds here on our farm. They patrol our acreage and provide guard for our goats, chickens and turkeys as well as have access to the love and admiration they deserve. Who says you can not have effective guardian dogs that are loved and well cared for? A beautiful sight seeing our grandchildren playing with the Great Pyrenees dogs in the fields and resting at ease knowing there are no predators on the farm. And the dogs who patrol our farm and are loved by us all are....
This is my boy, Priapus Fritz DeHair, who died in his sleep April 8, 2004 at 12 years of age. In Greek mythology, Priapus, Son of Dionysus and Aphrodite was worshiped as the protector of flocks of goats and the promoter of fertility. Fritz, Frank in German, and DeHair is what we obtained from shearing our Angora goats. Guardian of our goats, chickens, and our grandchildren. He was a beautiful, loving gentle giant who will always remain with us.
Klondike alias KleinHarry has assumed the leading position in our breeding program. He is proud of his AKC and CKC registration.
Cierra, with her Wolf Grey markings, is our matron of the farm. A loving dog who is very attentive. Cierra is CKC registered.
Some of former registered puppies, less one I kept, Little Puppy
Little Puppy - one of the pups above - as all of our Great Pyrenees he is a loving dog but just likes to run the county too often, another trait of these dogs who want to patrol and protect the county residents. |
